I know this blog is meant to be about how I am being daring & mighty in my own way but I would still like to take the opportunity to big-up people I reckon are being daring and mighty in their own special way, as I did with Mr Grylls yesterday. As much as I would love to tell you about the film shoot I was on today and how great the spa was this-evening, I think it’s time to turn the spotlight onto someone far more interesting….
Henrietta Norton!
Hen is a dear friend and although I have a policy not to reveal the names of friends and the details of my dating life (despite all the juicy material there!!), she has gone and put her name on a book so I can hardly not mention her.
Hen is a highly qualified and gifted nutritionist. She specialises in women’s health and has written a book about endometriosis. Hen worked with some leading experts in that field – Michael McIntyre (no, not ‘that’ one…) and Professor Chris Sutton, who’s pioneering research has made an enormous contribution to the understanding and treatment of the condition. Being outstandingly dedicated and passionate about all things health and nutrition, Hen has written this book with a lot of care and wisdom. She genuinely wants to help women who suffer endometriosis and as this week is Endometriosis Awareness Week, it seemed appropriate to tell you about her book.
Writing a book is a big deal. It takes incredible self belief, passion and dedication. Hen has produced this work so graciously and with such humility – I am glad to be able to shout about her and her book because she is far too humble to do so!
If you know anyone that suffers Endometriosis, please pass on the details of this book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Take-Control-Your-Endometriosis-Christopher/dp/0857830686. And, if you want to learn more from Hen on all things nutritional, you can catch her at the Vitality Show in London – 3pm Friday 23rd March – where she will be talking about the environmental toxins every woman should know about. Her approach fuses the latest research with the wisdom of traditional nutritional therapy.
Congratulations Hen. You are one daring & mighty lady!
