It is important to me to take time out and pay focussed attention on my spiritual and personal growth. With that in mind, I definitely made the day count today and felt very brave. I attended a ‘Singles’ workshop (gulp!) without too much of an idea what to expect. I signed up a few weeks ago in response to very clear guidance from the Universe. Apparently this was something I needed to do so who was I to ignore it….! And, it was being run by the Hoffman Institute, who I trust implicitly.
Despite experiencing quite a lot of resistance over the last 24 hours – possibly contributing to my Bachelorette blog last night!! – something deep in my spirit was being stirred and I knew I just had to trust my intuition and go along.
I was not attending the workshop because I am desperate for a relationship. Quite the opposite, actually. I am very content being single just now and feel fulfilled by so many aspects of my life. It is an exciting and rewarding time for me. That said, I do expect to be in a relationship again and I want to be certain I am clear on what I want. I know only too well we attract what we ask for – which includes what our subconscious thinks we need or want – and there is plenty I could do without next time round! So, I guess I wanted to bring into full conscious awareness absolute clarity on what I would like and to set a clear intention.
The workshop was powerful. It helped me enormously with understanding the dynamics of past relationships. It was refreshing to also be shown positive, pro-active ways to deal with other human beings! We human’s are complex creatures and an understanding of how we fundamentally work was so interesting. No-one teaches you this stuff. My parents certainly didn’t. They mostly showed me what not to do!
My spirit communicated with me so clearly today too and I was deeply touched by the the vision I was shown of my future. It completely exceeded my expectations and I feel so blessed. A future full of love, fun, ease and friendship. I look forward to watching it unfold!
