I don’t think I have ever ever ever been as cold as I was today. That was NOT on the Bag List. Next time I will be more specific! I really got Finn’s hopes up for the Cars stunt show featuring Lightning McQueen. We had to leave the show early along with most of the crowd because it was just too cold to bare it. Most of the kids were in tears, including Finn. Didn’t realise we needed our snow gear for this trip!! That experience was followed by a freezing 50 minute queue only for us to reach the ride and discover it was the scariest roller-coaster in the park and Finn refused to board! Then, half way through the queue for the next ride, Finn needed the loo. Another queue abandoned. By this point my hands and feet had turned to ice blocks and I thought I may not get through the rest of the day. But we did. And, we managed to find the humour in it. Anyway, we got through the day with plenty of hot chocolate stops and thankfully the sun shone throughout. Had a ball. Fabulous memories. Great bonding. Neither of us want to go home…!

Some big items are being ticked off my bag list. I reckon I need to add some more to it, starting with a holiday in the Bahamas….!
