What a glorious day! Summer seems to have arrived early. After 5 days away I have come back to a totally different home. The Magnolia tree has blossomed, all sorts of greenery is springing up in the garden, the wasps are back in full fury, the birds are chirping louder than ever…..the place is buzzing and alive. I love it!
I did my favourite thing this-morning and sat on the back step with my tea and toast, sunshine on my face – what a way to start the day. Absolutely in my element.
Several friends called to see how the show went. I was telling them how excited I was to be sat in the sunshine and was informed that the weather has been like this the last few days – they just didn’t have the heart to tell me. I had no idea! I have literally been inside a windowless venue for 5 days straight and didn’t have a clue the weather was so incredible. So, true to form I did my ‘all or nothing’ trick and soaked up as much sun as I could today. It felt amazing. My body hungrily soaked up the vitamin D. It was so rejuvenating. Now I am beetroot red. Oops! Thing is, the feeling of tingling burned skin actually feels good. I know it’s bad for me. I know! Bad bad bad. But, like the old Cheryl Crow song says…. ‘If it makes you happy, it can’t be that bad’. Love ya Cheryl!
Sometimes a little bad feels great. I shall go slather on some of my gorgeous new ‘Pai’ organic skincare products now and feel even better.
