Just home from helping my mate, Gabrielle, with some DIY at her new spiritual and creative centre, ‘Koorana’ – opening on Saturday!!! Gabrielle’s mum was there too and we had some funny chat like, ‘How many women does it take to put together an IKEA bookshelf’ and ‘No! I’ve chipped a nail’ and ‘Who needs men, anyway?’ and ‘Check me out, with my drill!’ …. you get the picture. We were rather proud of ourselves. I may have been in my London work attire, straight from the office, with beautifully polished nails, but I was pretty handy with that drill! And then, on arriving home, I very bravely dealt with another dead mouse. I hated every second of it. Lots of squealing and ‘sorry, sorry, sorry’ apologies to the dead creature, but I got there in the end.
You see, us girls are just as capable as you blokes. We may giggle and squeal, but we get the job done in our own special way…..!
