I decided to host a cocktail party tonight. The invitation was very clear – no men or kids!

There’s no reason for the party, I just felt like celebrating with my girlfriends. Besides, you can always find things to celebrate. Here are a few things we will be toasting tonight….

1. *Today would have been Mum’s Birthday, so, Happy Birthday Mum!
2. *2 of my mates have just launched books – incredible stuff.
3. *1 of my mates has a new baby & bizarrely only the men have had a ‘wetting of the head’. It’s our turn!
4. *Mama Guru is moments away from releasing her long awaited blog….!
5. *1 mate is about to launch her creative & spiritual centre – huge cause to celebrate!
6. *We all work bloody hard and simply need to let our hair down.

* The sun has been shining.

1. *I bought a new coat.
2. *I have girlfriends that rock.

So, it’s cosmopolitans and chick tunes tonight. Woo hoo!
