Are you up for a Mantra?

RaMaDaSa

Today on the couch I felt the need to hear and share a mantra – RaMaDaSa. You can view it here. It is a healing mantra which I often use with clients on the back of doing a piece around forgiveness and when we are in a space of needing really deep healing. This song is just gorgeous and  it is so transformational if you let it be.  I have mentored ladies in the past who were rather skeptical about ‘hippy-dippy’ chanting but who allowed themselves to open-up with the beauty of the music. They shifted their views and recovered harmony within and went on to use the mantra as a powerful tool regularly.

The mantra essentially means that I am supported by God; God is holding me; and I am safe. Literally the words can be translated as Ra- sun energy; Ma- moon energy; Da earth energy; Sa- infinity ,or  universal energy; Sa (repeated); Say is the totality of infinity and So Hung is I am thou. Ra Ma Da Sa is the earth mantra and Sa Say So Hung is the Ether mantra. The scope of the mantra is pretty immense huh? For me it is like tapping into pure universal love which is also immense and endless. When listening, the vibration of the words massage my heart and clear out anything that needs clearing. I open my palms to receive the energy of God, love and light.

I love to play this mantra while I am in the bath or just pottering about the house before I go out. It forms a part of my self-care routine and I highly recommend you give it a go.

This song is one of many on my Shine playlist which is available here. A link to the song by Snatam Kuar, who is an American Sikh, is also available  here.
