THE DAFFODILS HAVE ARRIVED!

daffodilsI got rather excited today to discover daffodils in Mama Guru’s garden! I sadly only managed a very amateur shot of them but I had to get proof to encourage those of you living in the UK to keep your spirits high….Spring is nearly here! Oh, and it’s a little light into the world of those mourning England’s rugby loss today…..

Life is happily ticking along in our household and I am very simply feeling very grateful that it is the weekend, allowing me to spend some time with Finn. As he gets older he really is becoming more and more my little mate and I am loving it. Living so consciously these days, I really do find I savour every moment with him. He is growing up so quickly and I find myself taking constant mental snap-shots of him – cuddles in bed in the morning, tea & chocolate milk in-front of a movie, cooking dinner together, reading the ‘Adventures of the Wishing Chair’, watching him make intricate lego vehicles. God….I know I must sound like one of ‘those’ parents, but it really does feel so great to feel so close to my son and to know that we have a great little friendship. It doesn’t seem that long ago that I know I didn’t properly pay attention to how blessed I am because I was lost in unconsciousness and having a rather rough time of life. To have that weight taken off my shoulders and my eyes opened to the miracle of sharing a life with my son is something I will never ever stop feeling grateful for.
